Early in the ring with hip #6, a colt by City Zip and out of an unraced half-sister to California’s only Dynaformer-stallion, Mr. Big, sold for $300,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Alex and Jo Ann Lieblong signed the ticket for the handsome bay, who was consigned by St. George Sales, agent.
The colt’s dam, Trendsetting (by Stormy Atlantic), is also a full-sister to Grade-3-winner and Grade-2-placed Magnificience.
Bred in Kentucky by Caroline Huckabay, the well-connected colt was pinhooked out of the 2014 Keeneland November Sale for $150,000.
