Thanks to balanced nutrition, individual attention and expert care, combined with a natural environment
that stimulates physical and mental development, each foal at E.A. Ranches is provided with the perfect
start to become the top athlete it is bred to be.
Under the direction of former general manager Marguerite Eliasson, who retired after 36 years at
E.A. Ranches and was succeeded by long-time assistant Sherrie Tellam in January 2017, the farm
has earned a first-class reputation of delivering Kentucky quality. It established itself firmly among
the best facilities in California for mare and foal care, weanling and yearling boarding, expert sales
preparation, lay-ups and rehabilitation, as well as dignified retirement.
