Paulick Report Features Mr. Big, George Krikorian

Mr. BigIn an exclusive portrait, the industry publication Paulick Report featured George Krikorian’s successful Dynaformer-stallion Mr. Big, who is standing at E.A. Ranches in Ramona, California. Breeders in California greatly supported Mr. Big in 2016, his first season at the West Coast. “He sires very correct individuals, with good bone and an absolutely great mind”, says Marguerite Eliasson, general manager of E.A. Ranches. “And most importantly, he gets winners.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Big’s most accomplished runner Big Book, second to Champion Beholder in the Grade-3 Torrey Pines Stakes last year, suffered a career-ending injury during a scheduled work at Del Mar Racetrack on July 23 — a day marred by three breakdowns in the morning and one in the second race.

Eliasson said that owner/breeder George Krikorian and the entire E.A. Ranches team were deeply moved by the outpouring of compassion by clients, breeders and racing fans after attempts to save the filly’s life were not successful. Big Book was born, raised and started her training at E.A. Ranches.
